Welcome to Guitar Beginners

Thank you for choosing me as your tutor. My philosophy is to deliver high quality practical tuition, tailored to suit your learning style and tastes in music. Lessons are always fun and relaxed but also structured with an aim to progress your skills to the next level. 

As a self employed musician / teacher I am responsible for generating my own income. With this in mind I kindly ask students to take careful consideration when booking in lesson slots. This is to avoid potential lesson cancellations and ensure that my income remains consistent from week to week. 

House Keeping

Whilst some private tutors ask for monies upfront I have chosen to keep my booking system flexible; as I feel that the majority of my students prefer this method. I do however have a few housekeeping rules which help me to maintain a smooth running business:

• Please provide me with a minimum of 48 hours notice for lesson cancellations. This is 48 hours working backwards from the time of the booking.

• If a lesson is cancelled without 48 hours notice, payment will still be taken or requested.

• If you need to cancel without 48 hours notice but can still make an alternative time slot within the week in question then please feel free to ask me if we can reschedule. Unfortunately I can not guarantee that an alternative session will be available.

• Whilst 48 hours is my official cancellation limit I do kindly ask that students try to provide me with at least 1 weeks notice if possible.

• I do not charge for absence due to sickness. I kindly ask that this policy is treated respectfully. Payment will be welcomed if sickness has resulted in a late lesson cancellation.
